Web Presence Creations is the name I have given my freelance web development business. Having a web presence means that your business has a website on the world wide web. By designing a custom website, I am creating your web presence. So Web Presence Creation is what I do.

History

I started Web Presence Creations in May 2003 when my cousin, a home builder, wanted a website to allow potential customers to look at his floor plans, neighborhoods he builds in, and homes he has for sale.

From there I have gained clients through referral. My second client, Elizabeth Rose Bridal, found me through another one of my cousins. She in turn, referred one of her business partners, The Wedding Place, to me. Through The Wedding Place, I gained two more clients, Megasound and Shoe of a Different Color.

The year 2005 was a big year for me in terms of advancing my skills, I constructed a database-driven website for my cousin's custom home building company, Carriage Place Homes. I used that website to renovate my first website, Bridle Homes, so that it would also be database-driven.

By far the biggest website project I have ever undertaken started in Spring 2005, when I was recruited to be webmaster for my church, Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. A new website for the church gradually became a reality over the summer and fall of 2005. It was launched on November 25, 2005, just in time for Advent. The ability to do this website is an answer to my prayers that I would be able to use my talents for God. I pray that the church website will help bring people to the church and to God.

In 2007, I advanced my technique in web design with the construction of the second generation Good Shepherd website. I feel that the design elements I created for that website will help me design new websites with greater speed.
